Create Agent

  • Agents require JRE 11 or greater to be installed

Agents and workers are responsible for executing the schedules

  1. Navigate to Global Settings → Agents

  2. Click on Configure Agent

  3. Fields -

    1. Agent Name - Name of the Agent

    2. Total Workers - Number of worker instances to start. Basically denotes the number of parallel jobs that the agent can perform

    3. Agent Name - Name of the Agent

    4. Type - Agent types can be one of:

      1. CLOUD HOSTED - The agent will be started automatically on one of the predefined cloud servers

      2. SELF HOSTED - The agent has to be started on your own instance by following the instructions

    5. Job Types - Job Types that can be handled by the agent

    6. Systems - Systems assosiated with the agent. The agent workers will only execute the jobs associated with one of these system types
